The 2nd Annual Women of Faith...Women of Action Conference hosted by the Venice Diocesan Council of Catholic Women is February 20, 2010. The theme this year is "Making a Difference Through Prayer & Service."
The conference will be held at Bishop Verot High School. The cost of the conference is $25 and lunch will be provided. All Women of Faith are invited to join in this wonderful experience.

VDCCW Retreat January 16, 2010 at OLPH
We now have information on the 2010 VDCCW Retreat! Here is the schedule of activities for the day:
9:00am-9:30am Continental breakfast,
9:30am-11:00am Prayer and talk by Father J.J. McCarthy(who is supposed to be wonderful).
11:00am-Noon Confessions will be held.
Noon: Lunch
1:00pm: Talk by Father J.J. McCarthy
2:00pm Mass in the OLPH Chapel
3:00pm Retreat ends
Reservations need to be made soon, and with the holidays approaching it is advised to do it ASAP. Betty Holden, who is the Ascension Church Commission Chair, will be taking reservations for the retreat(thank you Betty!).
The cost is $25.00 per person and checks need to be made out to VDCCW, then sent to Betty Holden at the address below. Reservations are due January 2, 2010

The Diocese of Venice is having the closing Mass/celebration for the 25th anniversary on Saturday, December 5th at 11am at Epiphany, with a small reception following.
